Welcome to the 19th RSL broadcast of OSCAR Radio. The station continues to thrive under the management of the pupils, and OSCAR is seen by many as a flagship of school radio stations in the UK. We would like to take this opportunity to say thanks for the organisations that support OSCAR and enable us to broadcast as we do, which include, OFCOM, IRN, PPL, PRS and MCPS. The School continues to provide the essential support in making this happen, and the pupils react in an extremely positive manner.
This broadcast is the first under my stewardship and I would like to thank Mr. David Fuller for his ten years at the helm. I hope we can continue to go from strength to strength over the coming years.
We are keen to help other youth organisations and schools get themselves organised to get a radio station set up near them, so if you need any help and assistance as well as being able to see how we do things, and what we do with it, please get in touch.
